As of January 24, 2017, the library has received copies of the 2016 1040 forms and instruction booklets, the 2016 1040EZ forms and instruction booklets, and the 2016 1040A forms and instruction booklets. Over the coming weeks we expect to be receiving limited copies of the following additional 2016 tax forms:

IRS-certified AARP tax assistance volunteers will be at the library on Tuesdays from 4 - 7 p.m., from February 7 through April 11, 2017. Assistance is provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
When you come for tax assistance, you will need to bring the following items:
|Social Security cards or other official documentation for you and all dependents|
|copy of last year's tax return(s)|
|unemployment compensation statements|
|all 1099 and 1098 forms you have received|
|all forms indicating federal income tax paid|
|dependent and child care provider information|
|if itemizing deductions, all receipts or canceled checks|
For joint returns, both parties must be present. For direct deposit of refunds, bring a blank check to show proof of account.
