Oil from the British Petroleum deep water oil drill is leaking into the ocean every day. If you were wondering how companies like BP are able to cleanup these huge oil spills, come to the Youth Program Room in the Keene Public Library on Thursday July 22nd from 1 until 2 p.m.
U.S. Army Corps. of Engineers Park Ranger, Eric Chouinard will present fun hands on activities which will replicate an oil spill, like the one in the gulf. You will learn what tools are used and see what the most effective means of cleanup are. This is an educational, but fun activity perfect for families, and children 6 years and older.
