The Vineyard

Set on the North Fork near the eastern end of Long Island, The Vineyard, is the true story of a young couple who purchases an old farm and creates a family winery. It's a bittersweet story of the trials and tribulations of farming, viviculture, and growing a family. I loved this book because it's set in the land of potato farms where my ancestors lived, but it's a compelling and often humorous story on its own.
