Dr. Alexis Chesney Gives Presentation on Lyme Disease Awareness, Prevention and Treatment

Lyme disease has become increasingly common in N.H. so it is not surprising that as the weather turns warmer, Lyme disease is on many people’s minds. Please join Dr. Alexis Chesney on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, at 7 p.m. at the Keene Public Library to take a holistic look at prevention and treatment of Lyme disease. Alexis is a naturopathic physician and acupuncturist specializing in Lyme disease at Sojourns Community Health Clinic in Westminster, Vermont. She holds a doctorate in naturopathic medicine from the University of Bridgeport. Her training in Lyme disease includes extensive study under Richard Horowicz, MD at Hudson Valley Healing Arts Center in Hyde Park, New York. Dr. Chesney is passionate about Lyme education in New England. During the free public lecture, Dr. Chesney will highlight the importance of prevention, testing options, diagnosis and treatment options for tick bites and Lyme disease. 

Dr. Alexis Chesney received a Doctorate in naturopathic medicine and a Masters in acupuncture from the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. Naturopathic physicians are trained in the art and science of natural medicine at four-year accredited medical colleges.

Passionate about Lyme education in New England, Dr. Chesney completed intensive training under Richard Horowitz, MD of Hyde Park, New York. Dr. Chesney also enjoys working with clients of all ages on chronic disease, general wellness, nutrition, and lifestyle counseling. She works at Sojourns Community Health Clinic in Westminster, Vt.
